Pope Jane's front woman, Danielle Egnew, is mistaken for Heart's Nancy Wilson by Seattle Music Mag, The Rocket. Pope Jane was the special featured act before Ann and Nancy.

Greetings, We start on Friday night at Seattle's SHOWBOX, where a big-time benefit bash was held for the NORTHWEST AIDS FOUNDATION (NWAF).

Pope Jane -- as he was volunteering at this particular event, tearing tickets and stamping wristies (thanks should also be extended to the Showbox crew, who plied all us volunteers with plates of food and drinkies!). But the band's female lead singer definitely possesses a powerful throat.
